Temptation Eve, my first paranormal romance, releases November 13, 2009 from Cobblestone press. To celebrate, I’m hosting two month-long contests, giveaways & a special reader prize. In Temptation Eve, opposites attract and passion is the ultimate temptation. But sometimes passion has a price…
Eve Templin has the reputation of an ice queen in the courtroom, but in the bedroom she craves the thrill of sexual submission. Past betrayals left her wary of emotional involvement with a Dominant, but she can't ignore the connection she feels with one in particular, incubus Alonso D’Agostino.
Alonso is everything Eve craves in a Dominant: Intelligent. Exotic. And insatiable. He is also one of her law firm's biggest clients and a notorious playboy. When he offers her more than a fling, will she risk her career for love?

Hi Michelle, this is going to be a great month.
My guilty pleasures are sweets, my ultimate two are Sour Jelly Bellies and See's Assorted Milk Chocolates. Both are so addictive and I tend to hoard any stash I get.

Godiva chocolate!
My guilty pleasure (which I give up for Lent every year) is B, B, B...
Bread
Booze
Books
Every Lent I stop buying all three. Needless to stay, I start stockpiling in January!
Thanks,

Can't wait for its release Michelle - congrats :)!
I'll come back throughout the month - sounds like a great party you girls are throwing.
My guilty pleasure is a toss up between books and cheesecake. I'm highly addicted to both :D!

candles lol can't live without them
Hey Michelle,
Congratulations on your upcoming release!
My guilty pleasure is split between buying ebooks and eating poutines(French Canadian dish...french fries covered with cheese and gravy *YUM*).
Happy Reading!!!

My guilty pleasures are expensive chocolate and buying books. Looking forward to getting this book.

@ Gem: Hi Gem! Thanks for stopping by and for the congrats. This was such a fun story to write. I'm SO ready for release day. Waiting is the worst part.
@ Cathy M: Hi Cathy! Great to see you here. Yes, this month is jam-packed -- not just the release day and its promo, but the other author giveaways I'm hosting. I think in December I'll give myself a mini-vacation. ;D
I've heard of Jelly Bellies but never seen them. Are they gummy candy? I like Sour Patch Kids but haven't had any for awhile.
I feel you on the candy hoarding. lol
@ Jeannette: I LOVE Godiva chocolate. I got my hands on my some Godiva chocolate covered strawberries once...addicted on the first taste.
@ Tracey: I once tried to wean myself off bread. Not a pretty time. Most of the food I love is breaded, so I had to eat a lot of fruit, which was good, but I wanted waffles!
I know your pain on the book buying. I arbitrarily put myself on book-limits, so that I can only purchase a certain number of books and then I have to not buy any for 3 months.
@ Minx: *waves* Thanks for the congrats.
I've never had blackberry cobbler...probably because I don't like blackberries. ;D But cobbler is always good.
It's funny how many guilty pleasures on this list include food...
@ Dawn R: Great to see you here. Man, I haven't been to the Cheesecake Factory in a while. I used to eat cheese cake all the time, but I got a little older and now it's too rich for my stomach.
Even so, when I see a slice, I get VERY tempted...
@ Pam S: Another cheese cake lover! I'm with you on the book love. Books are one of my biggest guilty pleasures. Even when I'm running out of space, I want to go book shopping.
@ Jennifer: Great! A new guilty pleasure for the list. I enjoy candles, especially the wide, large ones. I have a strawberry ones that smells SO yummy. It makes me crave fruit all the time.
@ Anna: Thanks for the congratulations. I've never had poutines. They sound strangely yummy -- strange, only because I'm funny about what I eat gravy with. But the french fries + cheese part makes me crave some fast food.
@ lindseye: Hi there. I'm glad you're looking forward to TEMPTATION EVE. I have a countdown timer for it, so I'm getting more excited with every day.
What type of chocolate do you like best? Godiva? Lindtz? Ferrero Rocher? I like all of them, but especially Ferrero Rocher.
On a side note, has anyone seen that commercial for Ferrero Rocher called "The Ambassador's Party"? It's hilarious. I remember watching a French & Saunders (a British comedy duo) spoof of it and chuckling. **Tangent officially over**
@ Fedora: Thanks for partying with us here all month. I totally understand hiding away the chocolate. I'm like that with my candy. And I'm VERY stingy about letting anyone borrow my books, as Minx can attest.
@ JWIsley: That's a great combination - chocolate, cheesecake and sexy books. Now THAT'S a party! ;D
Hey Michelle,
I just checked out the Ferroro Rocher ad on YouTube... I'm curious about the spoof...I've got to search for it.
I couldn't help but notice your question on Jelly Bellies...they are a gourmet jelly bean company (comes in multitude of flavours). I love their Very Cherry & Cotton Candy jelly beans...so yummy! but expensive considering the fact that they're jelly beans. *sigh*
You should definitely try out a poutine...it's really simple to make...just take some french fries and put into a deep plate/bowl and top with mozzarella cheese and then cover with hot gravy...It is so deelish...all the gooey cheesy strings...it's a real indulgence on a cold day here.
Choclate donets are my guilty pleasure and cake.
